We are sad to announce the death of Denise Woodward, Consultant Solicitor, on 22nd April 2023.

Denise was a valued member of our Family Law Team and a hugely popular member of staff. Denise will be sorely missed by all her work colleagues and the legal fraternity in Chester and beyond.

Chris Storrar is Chief Executive Officer of the firm. He founded the firm as a sole practitioner in 1983 and is now responsible for the firm’s strategy as well as the day to day management of the firm. Although now a non-practising Solicitor, he has spent his working career as a Commercial Solicitor advising organisations of all sizes on commercial matters including Banks, FTSE100 Companies, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Universities and Government Departments as well as small companies and partnerships. He has an unrivalled reputation for giving sound, pragmatic advice.

His commercial experience ensures he is uniquely placed to lead the firm in the next stage of its development. He is wholly focused on enhancing the firm’s prestigious reputation for delivering first class legal assistance and advice.
