Storrar Cowdry to take part in the Chester Racecourse Pantomime Horse Race 2026

For the third year running, Storrar Cowdry Solicitors will be taking part in the Chester Racecourse Pantomime Horse Race in support of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

This year’s horse, Storrar’s Star, is being entered by Janet Baines, a Family Solicitor and Partner at Storrar Cowdry, who is raising funds in memory of our friend and former colleague, Denise Woodward. The Pantomime Horse Race takes place before racing begins on Family Fun Day at Chester Racecourse on Sunday 2 August 2026, with Janet aiming to raise £500 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

The Hospice provides free specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses across Cheshire West and Deeside, relying on the generosity of the local community to continue its vital work. Everyone at Storrar Cowdry wishes Janet and her horse the very best of luck for race day and hopes the event raises valuable funds in memory of Denise.
