Storrar Cowdry host annual charity 5-a-side tournament

Storrar Cowdry recently hosted a successful 5-a-side charity football tournament at Deeside Leisure Centre, raising £614.20 in favour of The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, an establishment caring for more than 1,500 people from the Cheshire and Deeside area every year.
Ten teams from around Chester stepped up to the challenge in a bid to get their hands on the illustrious Storrar Cowdry Cup. After a gruelling eight games of non-stop football played through torrential rain and lightning strikes, the current champions Total Footcare came away victorious to retain their title after winning 4-2 in a hard fought final versus hosts Storrar Cowdry.
Storrar Cowdry would like to thank Deeside Leisure Centre for donataing the use of their facilities for the evening.
