Darlene Storrar elected President of Chester & North Wales Law Society

Storrar Cowdry’s Managing Partner Darlene Storrar has been elected as President of the Chester and North Wales Incorporated Law Society for 2013-14.
Darlene is the Head of the Family Law Department at Storrar Cowdry and has specialised in matrimonial law, particularly divorce, for 30 years. Educated at Queen Mary College, London and then graduating with honours in law from Liverpool University, Darlene has been with the firm since its formation in 1983.
Speaking about her election, Darlene said: “I am delighted to become the President of the Chester and North Wales Law Society. It will be an honour and a privilege to represent the local Law Society this year. I am looking forward to building on the Society’s successes and representing our members both locally and on the national stage.”
Darlene Storrar gave her inaugural speech at the Chester and North Wales Law Society Annual Dinner at Chester Racecourse, and takes over from outgoing President Mark Brown. The guest speakers in attendance were Rt Hon Lord Justice Maurice Kay, Lucy Scott-Moncrieff, the President of the Law Society of England and Wales and HHJ Elgan Edwards, Hon, Recorder of Chester.
