Storrar Cowdry Solicitors in Chester proud to be supporting Will Week
Storrar Cowdry Solicitors in Chester are proud to be supporting Will Week in 2020.
Over 50% of people have yet to actually make a Will for a variety of different reasons. For example, some believe that they simply cannot afford to make one. Are you unsure where to start? Do you think it could be too early or late to write a Will? Are you worried that your loved ones are not protected?
What is Will Week?
First of all, Will Week is a great way of giving yourself peace of mind. Making a Will means setting your affairs in order and ensuring that your wishes are kept. Finally, as a bonus you are also supporting your local Hospice. Will Week works with support from solicitors who have agreed to waive their fees in return for a charity donation. In this case, to The Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
Gillian Knowles, solicitor and partner at Storrar Cowdry who is supporting Will Week, said: “By making a Will you can choose where your assets go and who controls this process. If you don’t make a Will, relatives inherit your assets according to a strict order set out in intestacy rules”.
All of the participating solicitors involved are thrilled with the opportunity to support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd during their Will Week to help raise money for the vital care and support they provide.
Will Week is due to start on Monday 23rd March 2020 and last until Friday 27th March 2020.
